Kitchen
When we were building our house a model house in the neighborhood had a kitchen with really pretty textured walls and faux painting. At the time we had already upgraded our house to our budget, so the pretty textured walls had to wait. December 31 was our 4 year anniversary so our gift to ourselves was to have our kitchen textured and painted. I love how it turned out. Here are some before and after pictures. The pictures don't really do it very good justice, so you will just have to come visit us to see the kitchen in person.

I LOVE it! The color looks so good against your dark floors! They did a great job on the texturing too. I need to get their number from you because we need to get some more rooms in our house painted. I am so sick of the white walls! Looks fabulous!

It looks FABULOUS!! I jealous! Did you guys sit in the kitchen all night and just stare at your walls with big smiles on your faces?!? I think I would have done that if my walls looked that pretty.
As a sidenote--Debbie West and her husband are AMAZING faux painters and texturizers (I have no idea how to spell that word). They do that as a side job...or at least they used to.
